Dutch Essentialz is a company that specializes in high-quality inliners and water level indicators, designed to prevent leakage and water damage in plant pots.

The company produces professional-grade products in their own European factory, ensuring both quality and durability. They sell their products B2B to retailers, garden centers, and intermediaries. The brand needed a fresh, engaging identity to communicate its commitment to quality and innovation, and to stand out in the B2B market.

Concept

We had set out to effectively communicate Dutch Essentialz’s core values of reliability, innovation, and professionalism. To achieve this, the direction we were exploring was a clean, modern, and functional brand identity that would align with the company’s high-quality offerings.

The design needed to reflect both the precision and durability of the products, while also maintaining a connection to nature and sustainability—key elements in the gardening and horticultural industries. We worked through several ideas to capture this balance.

Result

The result is a cohesive and impactful branding package that effectively communicates the premium nature of Dutch Essentialz’s products.

The new logo, color palette, and typography reflect professionalism and reliability, while the website and video content visually communicate the practical benefits of the products in an engaging and accessible way.

A key element of the brand’s visual identity is the DE logo, which represents the overarching organization, while the logo featuring the flowers symbolizes “The Essential.” This distinction allows the logo to grow with the brand, as it has been designed in a way that will accommodate future product additions under the same cohesive identity.

The brand now stands out as a trusted partner in the B2B market, with a modern and professional identity that appeals to retailers, garden centers, and intermediaries. The refreshed branding has already started to make an impact in terms of brand recognition and customer engagement, reinforcing Dutch Essentialz as a leader in innovative solutions for plant care.

For the website, we aimed for simplicity, focusing on easy navigation and clear product showcasing. We centered the design around conveying the company’s values of reliability and professionalism while visually highlighting the real-world benefits of the products. The website was intended to integrate seamless functionality with engaging visuals to create a memorable experience for potential business clients.

To further support the brand’s message, we produced a product video that highlighted the key features and benefits of the inliners and water level indicators. The video was designed to visually demonstrate how the products solved common challenges in plant care and gardening.
